Allegra, if you can get out a few days ahead of your danger zone time of year. This year, due to the mild winter and what not, I didn't quite catch the right time to start and wound up with a sinus infection. Wasn't that bad of one but I didn't project ahead enough like I usually do.

Also, OP if you are having the symptoms already with the mucus, I always go with Robitussin. But I'd still take an anti-histamine because as for me, it usually cuts the symptom time down moving forward even if you start a sinus infection.

I honestly thought that through a bit and that sounded like the lest homo thing I could've put

To PA, coffee seems to be making my nose run, so I guess that's a good thing? I'll have to go to the pharmacy in a bit.

I live right by a field and it doesn't help. It also snowed a few days ago, now 60 today.

Used to take benadryl but I don't want to be drowsy.

Well you might have some other things in play but most the OTC non drowsy meds like Claritin, Allegra, Zyrtec, etc...if taken consistently, should work fairly well. I'd resoectfully question your regime in taking it properly if it didn't work.

Otherwise there are the nasal sprays that might help too like Flonase. But again you need to be consistent in taking the meds for them to work.

Claritin Reditabs + Flonase and if you can’t clear the congestion, 4hr Sudafed from behind the counter (pseudoephedrine HCl).

Tylenol Sinus Severe Congestion. I get migraines and stopped up and that helps. Also get a Cool Humidifier like Vick’s or something from Amazon
