American Made does not always = better quality. In fact, seldom does. I dont know why we have such a stigma about that.

Actually, the American made version of boots are a lot higher quality than the Chinese ones. They come with thicker leather, better soles, stitched on soles, stronger stitching, and metal/composite midsoles.

The custom American ones are some of the best in the world

Eta: I have an older pair of red wing loggers with thousands of woods walking miles on them

Tony Lama. Everybody will say Lucchese based on price but my Ariats were more comfortable than my Luccheses for $400 less. IMO Tony Lama is the best compromise between quality, comfort and price.

This is complete BS, unless you are talking high-end bespoke items made in Europe.

American QA/QC is ten times that of the near and far east, and most of the central and south Americas.

Canada and Europe may be somewhat different.

Wesco boots are the most comfortable but pricey and the styles available are limited.

Yeah, you start customizing them, they get pretty expensive. I don't know why they just can't sell a regular slip on boot. I'm not trying to wear cop motorcycle boots in da club

Georgia Giants.

I wear the Romeo since I just need to give the appearance of wearing boots rather than needing them these days. I wear mine all the time.
