Find the Westbrook, they are a SC brewery and a really good one. Duck Rabbit also.

Green Man from Asheville might be there also.

I've had the Westbrook IPA, it was really good. Duck Rabbit Milk Stout and (I think) Left Hand are pretty good too.

I'm going to the early afternoon session. Are you wearing any pretzels? That seems to be the big thing, wearing them around your neck...

Favorite brands?

Boneyard
Breakside
Crux Fermentation Project
Cascade
Ale Apothecary

All for different reasons.

Favorite type?

IPA/DIPA's. I'm a hophead, but I like stouts and sours, as well. I'm fortunate to live in Portland, where I find a new beer to add to my favorite's list every week.

Dieu du Ciel
Brooklyn
NOLA
Sierra Nevada

Those are my favorite breweries. I'd like to say something like Russian River which is obviously awesome but I just haven't had enough of it to honestly say its a favorite.

Bell's Amber is the best, though.

Bell's Oberon is the best wheat beer in the country. I'm not really a fan of most of their others.

Guinness or Founder's Breakfast Stout for the dark stuff.

My buddy and I went to the Festival of Barrel Aged Beers in Chicago this fall, and while it was awesome, I was a bit unnerved by all the heavy set guys with beards walking around with necklaces made of pretzels. It reminded me of dudes on spring break wearing candy necklaces, just an older, fatter version of it.

Brand is hard to answer, but I'm a big ipa fan.

Currently Sweetwater and Stone are my gotos

In the summer I like IPAs, in the winter I like Stouts and Brown Ales.

Favorite Brands would be NOLA, Abita, Bear Republic, and Widmers (just tried their Barrel Aged Brrrbon Ale and it's amazing).

I always use rate beer when trying to determine new beers within a style to try. The one you listed is ranked in the 64th percentile, so there are definitely some out there that you may want to check out. LINK

You can search by style and find the best.

to the post about Shiner being a crap beer...I know it's not a high end beer I just prefer it to any of the other common beers people grab in a hurry.
