With the understanding that people vary greatly, how controllable have you found it for follow up shots?

I can’t believe people actually admit to carrying Springfield XDs, that’s so embarrassing.

I actually picked one up about a month ago but have only had a chance to run a few hundred rounds through it so far. I had six stove pipes within the the first 50 rounds and it really made me question the reliability of the gun. I was using cheap 115grain Winchester White Box FMJ's so it is possible the malfunctions were ammo related but I haven't had any issues with that ammo in any of my other handguns. It's also possible that the gun was just breaking in because the last 150 rounds I put through it the gun functioned perfectly. After some more time with it I intend to let my Wife use it as her edc. She carrys a Glock 19 now but wants to go with a smaller gun for more comfort while carrying.

Mine has eaten everything (even WWB ) 400+ and no mishaps. Keep shooting it and make sure thumbs not riding slide.

There is no one gun for all occasions. S&W Bodyguard 380. Glock 42 or Glock 19 cover most occasions. Also a flashlight and good pocket knife are advised.
