Thought this thread was about hockey. I know nothing about hockey other than they like beating the frick out of each other while chasing a black puck and beating it with a stick.

Bunch of frickn morons (as he glances over at the four identical $450 Sarge custom rods, trying to decide which 3 of the 4 to take tomorrow morning).

The news did a piece after the Hawaii fires showing one that survived the immense heat in a melted car and that started everything.
Years ago I bought a 2 pk of Manna water bottles at Sam's for $19 and they perform the same. I forgot a drink w/ ice in my truck and 24 + hrs later still had ice. Keeps cold / keeps hot for a long time.

Some marketing guy figured out that targeting gullible women is profitable.

Yeti started the insulated tumbler craze. Stanley had been making insulated mugs (mostly for construction workers) for decades and decided to hop on board the tumbler train. Somehow their tumblers got popular on social media and everyone bought them. Their marketing strat worked perfectly and props to them I guess.

You are 100% correct. It’s just not worth the hassle over 35 bucks.

The craze about the emergency is much more a bigger deal than the actual craze about the cups.

More people discuss people discussing it than people actually discussing it.

The hook is its 40 oz, has an handle, and fits in the cup holder in cars. I have no idea why that created a fad.

It’s a fad brought on by young girls on the internet.

Like transgenderism.

What’s happening here is weak fathers. Just say no.

I saw a dumbass Facebook mom selling knockoff Stanley Starbucks collab cups for $45 fricking dollars

The real ones are popular.

Like resold on ebay for a shite load popular.

quote:

Stanley's ultrapopular, limited-release Starbucks cups sold for $50 when they were briefly on sale at Target, but for some employees who bought one, the real cost is turning out to be much higher

quote:

A Target worker, Araceli Bernal, told Business Insider she and several coworkers were fired after purchasing cups, apparently in violation of company policy.

quote:

Bernal said she later realized the barista may have improperly set them aside as a favor to several coworkers who had expressed interest in the cups.

quote:

An employee handbook obtained by BI says: "Team members cannot use their status to gain an unfair advantage over guests when it comes to purchasing merchandise."

This would also keep them from taking all the ps5s when they were hard to get. So just a policy to stop employees taking merchandise before it’s out on the floor.

It’s funny how they enforce the policy for the Stanley cups but allowed Nuka Cola Quantum to never make it to the floor.

It’s the new wine glass for suburban soccer moms

They can drink wine all day in public while disguising it through their Stanley cup

They can wear their yoga pants while holding their Stanley cup to make it look like they just got out of the gym hydrating on water when the fact is they just rolled out of bed getting their wine or vodka fix all day.

It’s the only thing I can think of

Not big on the tumbler scene, but we bought a Stanley 64 oz water jug for my daughter to use at soccer and it is awesome. We've been through several other types and this one is by far the best.

Mania, is a common trait of women. I intentionally used the word, trait, as it's too common to be a disorder. Rather, stable thought processes are the disorder amongst females.
