I’ve never seen anyone try to create a meat-based plant food.
....I wonder why that is?
These plant based meat products are worse for you than just eating the damn broccoli.

The impossible whopper is not really healthier than a regular whopper.

Cows have been turning plants into meat for years. Nothing new here

Wtf are you talking about? Vegan and vegetarian is absolutely a new growing trend. BK partnered with Impossible Burger to try and target the vegan and vegetarian market to come in and try their burger and also let us normal humans sample it.
And I know the difference between vegans and vegetarians. Vegans are more annoying and Vegetarians are ok with dairy and eggs.

And that's not the point. But the impossible burger could easily be made healthier if they switch from canola oil to avacado oil. The main marketing thrust behind plant based meats is reducing consumption of high resource demand beef production that contributes to climate change. The marketing is directed mainly at people wanting to reduce their carbon footprint by reducing their meat consumption.....and there are a lot of these people.

Studies have shown that this vegetable based meat is not better for you than real meat. Too much sodium and other stuff in it.
Ethan Brown( the founder of beyond meat) is a neighbor of mine. I still won't try it.
He is one wealthy MFer now though and of course his wife is now back with him after they had been separated.

Its caught on and they want to capitalize since they can charge more than meat for it

Just cause it’s meatless doesn’t mean it’s good for you. All that shite is so processed and full of additives and chemicals
It's crazy that you have to explain this to people. The impossible whopper isn't a healthy alternative, it's for weirdos that want to eat meat free fast food

To make people accept bugs as food yo.
Which only makes sense if your realize the reptilian overlords that would normally just eat the bugs straight up, really like the flavor it imparts to human meat.

Watch "The Game Changers" on Netflix. High performing athletes, UFC fighters, NFL players... and the chemistry of a plant based diet.
You might change your mind on plant based diets. I personally don't give a shite if my food has a momma, or if someone thinks raising beef is destroying the environment. I just want a better way to eat to fix my diabetes. This seems to be doing the trick...and I still eat a damn steak every now and then!

Shouldn't they feel guilty about eating something that tastes like an animal? That seems a little like committing adultery in one's mind.

That’s a more than fair assessment.
