This is a GE Jupiter modular nacelle on the 2.X platform. I build these.

This is NOT a GE employee. Probably a contractor, do not from who. He does have his TSL kit (high angle rescue) but doesn't appear to be tied off.

The problem is our towers come from all over the place. For the physical tower structure, they come from Iowa, Illinois, etc. Our blades and nacelles come from typically Pensacola.

We do ship by train usually to a marshaling yard, and the trucks only travel by the road for a few hours.

I'm willing to bet the OP thinks going 100mph gets you the best gas mileage.

Was about to ask where you lived? If you were in South La you'd get the same shite with huge refinery and plant equipment being transported(escorted and blocking the frick out of the road) at 40 mph down major highways.

I am working in Dimmitt, TX right now putting up 120 of these bad boys. We have another project in Amarillo and Lubbock right now.
