There’s some nasty smells out there.
For me:
A) rancid grease
B) decomposing fish
C) public dumpster in the summer sun

Ischemic bowel

Smelled like a left over crawfish boil sealed in a trash can sitting in the hot summer sun for 5 days.

The longtime general surgeon was gagging.

Yep, my fridge 2 weeks after Katrina. It had been lifted up and leaned back in the corner of the wall. As soon as we stood it up, the door came open. Game over

Don’t look up Fornier’s gangrene.

Don’t do it.

You know you want to, but you’ll regret it.

Asafoetida. My grandfather's store has one of those small bottles on a shelf, as a little curious fella - I had to smell it...more than once.

A simple ziploc bag of cooked rice. It some how fell behind the bottom drawer panel out of sight. For weeks we dealt with a smell that kept getting worse and worse. Twice we emptied and cleaned out the fridge.

On the third cleaning, I removed the panel and found it. Had no idea plain rice could smell so bad.

The worst thing I have ever smelled is butyric acid. Straight from the bowels of hell.

Dental school cadaver lab. One of the cadavers must have died from cancer of the intestinal tract. There was a ton of fluid in the abdominal cavity and some jack wagon (I'm looking at you Sam N) decided it was a good idea to use the shop vac to clear the fluid so he could see better.

I have never seen a room clear out so fast in my life. I'm still surprised no one was trampled.

I will never forget that smell.

Worst by far was when I did some repair work at a place that makes dog and cat food. Supposedly this town is known because of their horrid smell. This place is a good 500 Yards if not 1000 yards off the highway and you can smell that horrible smell for many many miles when the wind is blowing right.

Was doing work on the roof which was horrible as frick and I was drying heaving several times. Luckily I didn't eat breakfast or drink anything, otherwise I would have been blowing chunks. Worst part was having to go into the building to the control room to cut the power off. You had to go up a mezzanine to the control room, but right next to it was a massive pile of white 'something' where this dude in a bulldozer was pushing shite into the pile. I was trying to get tunnel vision and only look at the steps, as to try and avoid any visualization that would me throw up my insides for sure. Soon as we get in the control room I head straight to the trash can thinking I'm about to throw up. Luckily I was able to hold it all in but god damn that was absolute torture. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE AGAIN! I'll pack my shite before I ever go back there.

Whats fricked up is that they said that the dude on the bulldozer will be working and eating a sandwich in there with bare hands. We worked a full day that day and for lunch I just left the site and didn't eat shite or drink anything. All I could smell or taste was that nasty smell. It wasn't even a horrible smell like shite or decay. It was something entirely different that I've never smelt before. Just about everyone in the company has threaten to quit if they have to go back out there a 2nd time. If you ever ride through cuthbert ga, or even around it, you'll know what I"m talkin about.

Another thing, I left all my clothes outside so it wouldn't stink up my room, but I had my hoodie that I wear under my hardhat that I left in my vehicle. It took at least a week for that smell to leave or me to get used to.

Met a girl at 145 am at Reggie's. Pulled her panties off and about puked. Was barely able to do it.

A guy went straight when the road curved to the left one night in August. About 10 days later, the police found him. Whether he was thrown out of the car or tried to crawl up the embankment after the car went into the trees is unknown, by that time he had assumed the shape of a brown puddle. I was sent out to take pictures. Nothing to shoot.
