Worked in a bad bad area of Birmingham once. Sure there are other parts of it that are nice.

Donovan Prison in SD to take a deposition of a prisoner. Although he was handcuffed, he managed to spit and throw wads of paper at us through the entire proceeding.
It was creepy as frick walking through those dungeon dark tunnels accompanied by one guard just to get to the cell where he was. That was my first and last deposition in prison.
