Corneal laceration for me. Felt like someone was grinding glass into my eye for 3 days straight. I’ve been injured a lot in my life and I think I have a relatively high threshold for dealing with injuries and I’ve dislocated my kneecap, popped it back in, and gone about my business before, etc etc, but I’ve never been more mentally affected by pain than I was with the eye injury. It was so fricking painful I can’t even describe it and I was completely debilitated. I can’t imagine a human having the ability to feel more pain than that in a more glaring spot

Wife said kidney stones
I received many shots to the nuts via soccer ball, last one did me in. Hydro cell surgery, not bad. Pulling the ruler size fluid trap from the bottom of my sack two weeks later hurt like a m’fer.

Had two fractured ribs. That was bad enough. Then I sneezed! Went straight to the ER.
X-rays showed both were now broken. Dr. said the sneeze caused them to snap.
My wife (no pictures) said I turned white, thought I was gonna pass out.
I’ve had other broken bones, all sorts of surgeries, the ribs when I sneezed were the worst.

Had my femur shaved down during FAI surgery and it made me feel like a wuss. On the positive side, I had my tonsils taken out at the age of 46 last year and it was a walk in the park by comparison.

Bladder scope: It wasnt the worst pain I've ever had, but it was certainly more than a "little discomfort" as I was told. I was about to bend the stirrups of that chair.
Pretty surprised your doc didn't put you under for a cystoscopy. I've had two, each with different urologists and both put me under.

Pancreatitis or Grade 3 concussion. Difficult to decide.
ETA: torn Achilles was nothing in comparison.

As others have said kidney stones are up there. But the worst was an abdominal adhesion with my intestine getting twisted. I’ve had gall stones and that was in the same range. Abdominal pain in your gut is the worst I think

Same, but a kick in the balls was pretty bad too, if only for a short time.

Almost ruptured appendix (if surgery hadn't been done when it was, I'd have been in a world of hurt)

The only time in my life I truly understood the concept of suicide is when I had a pinched nerve in my neck.
Could not function for months.

I had braces on and I cracked a tooth and exposed the nerve. The assistant that was taking off the braces and chatting with a coworker while doing it... She took that air nozzle to clean up the glue ( or whatever holds a brace segment in place) and put it right on that exposed nerve. I immediately lurched forward.. I left finger indentions in the arm rest.. That cold air hurt

Broken kneecap during Air Assault School. Pins and screws. Healed great and never have had another issue.
Two lower front teeth knocked out, minor jaw fracture in High School playing football while making a tackle. RBs helmet got lower than mine.
