Bouncer at a popular strip bar. Truly horrific job
Bro... c'mon, you've got to have some good stories. Share
Also, is it possible to get tired of seeing titties?

Lifeguard at a country club. Minimum wage. Fat soccer moms. A Judge Shmails type who was always on my case. I got second degree sunburn. Some parents threatened to sue me when their dipshit 12 year old got a concussion from diving headfirst into the shallow end after me telling him multiple times not to. At the end of the day I would have to police up dirty diapers around the kiddie pool.

My worst job wasn’t bad as bad as far as the work goes. It was the pay. Looking back at it I was being severely ripped off.
In the 90s as a kid coming into my teen years during the summers, I worked at two gas stations 2 hours at each/ 7 days a week.
I’d bag ice, restock the cooler, clean the bathrooms, clean the pumps and sweep the main store.
I got paid 70 cents a hour when minimum wage was $4.20 a hour.

fricking Jiffy Lube. I was there because I was in college and had no other skills at the time to get something better. Constant threats and pressure to upsell, especially with the women customers. Hot and oily in the summer and freezing and oily in the winter, went home stinking every night.
Most of my fellow employees were on probation, had been kicked out of the military, or were just plain shiftless lowlifes. They didn't give a shite about their shitty shoddy work and thought the damage they caused was funny.
Customers would come in and get their oil changed, then come back 2 or 3 days later blaming us for their ac going out, or brakes starting to squeal, or cracked windshield, or whatever.
I never understood how people kept going back to them.
It was a fricking misery.

100% at a CPA firm.
This was the worst employment I’ve ever had.
Everyone is grumpy all the time.
The firm sets unrealistic production goals for you that cause you to have to work a lot of extra un-billable admin time.
Too much un-billable admin time makes the bosses mad as well.
You have to be anal about your time and record every minute of your day.
They tell you they’ll help you and mentor you, but then if you actually ask them questions they get pissy because you’re interrupting their work.
Just an all-around toxic environment that’s not conducive to personal or career development.
At least that was my experience at the one firm I worked for.

Based on your post history, there’s no way you were anything more than the mail room attendant or courier

Tying rebar at Dow chemical in the summer wearing long sleeve FRC. Hot af, backbreaking manual labor, a-hole idiot boss, lazy retarded coworkers. It was the perfect storm of suck.

Worst was data entry at H&E Equipment in the claims department, holy hell that was boring. I lasted 3 months and then quit when they were going to hire me on full time after my temp-to-hire. Got hired the same day for a job in the insurance industry and still am doing that 13 years later, so it worked out.
Or babysitting in a gym while in high school. That wasn't fun either, but I don't like kids except my own and a handful of others (those in small doses). I got fired from that one for being to young and for telling the parents to just go work out and I'd handle their crying kids. The moms didn't like that.

Unloading trucks for Lowe’s.
I unloaded trucks at Wal-mart for a year while I was in college. I was in the absolute best shape of my life because of it and I did 4 years in the Army.
But my worst job only lasted 3 days and it wasn't an actual job, it was helping my then girlfriends dad at his business. I recently got laid off and he offered for me to work with him. He installed A/C units and did custom cabinets. The first two days, we installed A/C units in homes being built, no lunch from 6am-4 pm. The third day we installed some cabinets and a custom TV entertainment system, again no lunch 6am-2pm. I also had to drive an hour there to his place to load up and drive an hour back home every day as he wouldn't let me stay over.
After the 3rd day, he hands me a folded up check. I just put it in my pocket as I was talking to my girlfriend. I head back home, open up the check while driving and saw that he paid me $75....for 28 hours of work in 2004. I crumpled up the check and tossed it out of my truck.

Similar to my experience. I was not for the world. Glad I worked there for 2 years for the experience (accounting employers eat CPA experience up like it was crawfish on Easter) but now having a CPA license, I'll never work in public ever ever ever again. frick that.

I worked at West Teleservices a couple of years while I was in college. The pay was good, but talking on the phone all day to the dumb arse general public sucked horribly. That's when I realized exactly how dumb the average person here is. I still hate talking on the phone to this day. Text me, or GTFO.

QC supervisor for a sausage processing plant. Worked 11 p.m. - 7 a.m. for three years straight. Couldn't find or keep a decent crew. Many nights I was alone and had to finish up moving the 300-lb. trees of sausage into and out of the smokehouses after the second-shift cleaning crew had left for the night and before I could even start on sanitizing the facility or getting it ready for the next morning's processing. And if you got hurt or sick during the night...tough shite. You're on your own. No one was coming to relieve you.

It wasn't the job that i hated the most, but working a punch press at Dittco Doors in Monroe in the spring of 1974 sent me looking for a college degree. The job i hated the most was accountant at a travel agency. I couldn't decide if I hated accounting or just my employer, so i went to law school.
