Krispy Kreme glazed donut has 190 calories and 10 grams of sugar. 11 grams of fat and 2 grams of protein.
You'd need to eat four donuts to equal the amount of sugar in one 12 oz coke. And some people down cokes multiple times a day.
That's kind of crazy. I don't drink sodas anymore but I honestly didn't think they were that bad. Yikes.
I can resist the soft drinks but if they open a Krispy Kreme near here I'll have to move.

Through the first 2 pages and gratons is only mentioned once. I don't think you could get any more unhealthy than pork fat fried in pork fat. But it's still very tasty

It's not actually that bad for you.

Cracklin' was the first thing that popped in my head too. There is no way that shite is anything less than terrible for you. After three of them you start to sweat grease.

Onion Rings
Literally no nutritional value
"While onions rank in our WHFoods rating system as a very good source of biotin and a good source of manganese, vitamin B6, copper, vitamin C, fiber, phosphorus, potassium, folate, and vitamin B1, this richness in conventional nutrients is accompanied by their unique phytonutrient content. While a good number of the unique phytonutrients found in onions are sulfur-containing, many are not. The chart below shows onion phytonutrients that are receiving special attention in today's health research:"

I'm not sure what is the worst thing to eat. This is what I ate thus far today:
2 10 ounce black coffees
1/2 pound of crackling
2 boudin egg rolls
3 16 ounce cokes
double hamburger fully dressed
Onion rings
Cookies and cream milk shake
2 10 ounce black coffees
1/2 pound of crackling
2 boudin egg rolls
3 16 ounce cokes
double hamburger fully dressed
Onion rings
Cookies and cream milk shake

Sounds good. All stretched out throughout the day.

Wait. What? Fats and sugars don't occur in nature?

Surprised to see no McDonalds on the list. They must have paid for the survey. Id think a Big Mac would make the list
You'd be surprised. I watched a really neat video the other day where these food scientists tested a few different restaurants and packaged foods, and most were a good bit higher in calories than the label claimed. McDonalds, however, was pretty much spot on.
A Big Mac is 563 calories. If you skip the fries, this isn't all THAT unreasonable and it is filling. The real hard-hitters are things that aren't nearly as filling/large with the same amount of calories, such as the aforementioned honey bun.

The cheese fries with ranch dressing at Outback won this award I believe. It's far and away the worst thing you can eat at a mainstream restaurant.
This is actually funny because you can make your own version of "cheese fries" at home with Bolthouse Farms ranch (tastes like HV) for under 500 calories. I've done it as low as the 300s.

quote:The bacon, cheese and burger are not bad for you. And there's a good chance those donuts actually have less carbs than a "real" bun.
At the KY State Fair this year, they had a bacon double cheeseburger and the buns were Krispy Crème glazed donuts. I can't think of anything in the world fatter and more ridiculous than that.

Nope, those frickers cause cancer.
New research shows that the whole "artificial sweeteners cause cancer" craze was bullshite. I see soft drinks mentioned numerous times in this thread, and the fix is so simple.. develop a taste for the diet versions. They won't do anything positive for you nutritionally, but they aren't doing anywhere near the negative damage people like to say.
Don't go insane with it, but 1-2 diet sodas a day isn't going to kill you. Might make you crave sugar if you're that type (it doesn't to me) and isn't too wonderful on your teeth.. but there's much worse I'd bet most of you put in your bodies.

Did anyone bring up processed food in general? I know it's difficult to avoid all together, but at least be aware of what you eat and how often you are eating what..
