People that wear cowboy boots (not work boots) and have never owned or worked a single head of livestock in their life are try hards.

I live on a farm in Oklahoma. Ranchers and hands wear western style work boots every day. The only time peoe wear actual western cowboy boots is church.

Is other form of outside work allowed? Like maintaining land? Thanks in advance for your counsel

Guess that makes me a try hard then

No strings to tie, comfortable, ankle support, plus I dont have to worry about walking thru wet grass, mud, or water.

I wear cowboy boots anytime I go to church or somewhere casual. Have actual work boots for work.

Which ones? I’ve come back to lace ups due to better ankle support. Hard to find soft toes in town and anything in my size.

I don't wear boots everyday, but I enjoy my boots. What's wrong with cowboy boots?

It's footwear, calm down.

I think we need a clarification now. What the hell is the different between "cowboy boots", and

western style work boots

I'm wearing some Thorogood 6" plain toe American Heritages in tobacco color. Very comfortable and functional boot.

I'm thinking that this should be moved to the soccer board, you baws pay way too much attention to what other baws wear, and emphasis on shoes

I grew up in Shreveport in the 80's and a lot of guys were cowboy boot guy. Seems like there are fewer of them nowadays.

I grew up around S'port in the same era and had a pair of Justin Ropers. To this day, they were the most comfortable boots I ever put on my feet.

I have no real business wearing a cowboy boot. But I prefer it to loafers, sneakers, or "ankle boots/timberland" types when wearing pants in casual dress settings.

I'm probably a basic bitch. But boots, carhart type pants (maybe jeans, but they aren't as comfortable), and a long sleeve button down are my go-to.
