I mean I don’t wear boots ever, but they are probably the best footwear if not for the lack of comfort. Sturdy, provide support and protection and can be dressed up.
If I got used to them I would totally wear them.

I don't particularly like the style but I've been looking at Ariats as a replacement for my current work boots when the time comes. Just have gotten to like the idea of not having to deal with lacing up, my Thoroughgoods go through a set of laces every few months.

None of those are necessary for wearing cowboy boots. But if you can't hit 2/4 is it really fair to call you a "guy"?

Urban Cowboy made it a big thing everywhere. That and cowboy hats, which were everywhere. It never really stuck with me. I don’t hate it. It just wasn’t my thing. That said, I think people who wear cowboy boots today are probably more legit than many back then just following the fad.

Probably more of a blue collar guy working with his hands like a welder, pipe fitter, construction, etc, likes to hunt and fish, shoot guns, and grew up in the country riding four wheelers and going “muddin”, without question voted for Donald Trump, and values this country. All in all, probably somebody you can count on more so than not.

I do like some nice duck boots when it's cold.
I pretty much grew up on a farm and still can't get around to wearing western boots on a regular occasion. They're too bulky and uncomfortable, imo.
Most guys i see wearing them are plant workers for the steel toes. Lot of engineers I work with too. I only wear em if I'm doing a site visit.

I have to wear dress shoes daily for work, but all other times is boots. Nothing fits like a good pair of boots(if you know how to get the right size for your foot).
