I've got a 70s model kenmore harvest gold stove and everything still works. It resides in the shed as we have a gas stove in the house now but I still use the Kenmore for projects.

I also have an old green maytag washer in perfect working order. It's waiting for my wife's whirlpool to die so it can retake its place lol

I have a Kenmore gas range from the 50s like this one that works great in my kitchen.

Interesting timing of this thread. Just yesterday my 46 year old water heater finally retired itself. They don’t make them like they used to.

That does look great, much better than mine.

21 year old fridge I had to purchase after Katrina killed the previous one due to brown-outs.

I have replaced the main board on it once; a $150 fix. It’s currently in the garage as a backup unit for overflow.

I'm not sure how old it is, but we have a GE electric can opener that my parents had when I was a kid. They bought a new one when they moved and I snagged it for our kitchen. I like the novelty of it, but it does stay in the pantry until we need it because it's ugly

I have a vintage 1950's GE Potbellied perculator from my Grandmother. I pull it out every month or so and it works like a charm.

I had to send in my fancy automated pour over for repair and used the GE for a month or so and when I called to check on my repair, I told her what I was using for coffee and mentioned the 70 year old pot I was using.

Her reply, "It is so nice that you can still use that pot. It was so nice when things were made to last."

I hope that call was recorded for training purposes.

My parents have the same one, they got it as a gift at their wedding in 1984

Also this thread jinxed me; our late 90s dishwater drain pump went out last night

I remember my family having that same can opener when I was maybe 6 years old. It was old back then. I imagine that is 60 years old at least.
