Alarm clock. Mines 20+ years old. I don’t use the alarm any more because it’s just to easy to program my phone to go off on weekdays, but I like having it next to the bed to see what time it is if I wake up in the morning or at night and don’t have to grab my phone.

A Case pocketknife that my grandfather used. I'm guess it's at least 40 years old.

I have one. It is a Targetmaster model 41.

quote:

Going off the Remington website, it was a single-shot .22 Short/Long/Long Rifle (interchangeable) bolt-action rifle, made from 1936 to 1939. Designed by C. C. Loomis, there were ~307,000 made in that three-year window. Remington also offered the 41A, 41PS, 41AS, and 41SB variations on the standard 41 Targetmaster. I have no idea what those stand for with the exception of "SB," which was apparently a smoothbore model (odd?).

PS stood for peep sight.

A Pyrex Bowl like this one I inherited from my grandma. I think she got them in 60 or 61

A shoe shine kit that was my grandpa's.

I also got some memorabilia from his college days but that is just hanging up in my basement.

That is the SB. I was quoting a paragraph I found online. It was a popular old .22 for them to have made 2,000 a week during The Great Depression.

I used the same blow dryer daily for 33 years. Recently retired it for a lighter model, but it still works.
