What is the official way to enter the new airport terminal from the interstate?

From what I gather the Loyola exit will now connect to the new opening but I haven't heard if that new road is done yet. I'm picking a friend up next Thursday (thankfully at midnight so hopefully not much traffic) and want to make sure I don't get trapped in some kind of roundabout hell trying to get there.

Exactly where is the new terminal located. What going to happen to the old terminal. Not from the area, and when I fly , I fly out of Houston

Last I checked you had to take the Monkhouse Dr exit off the Interstate to get to the airport. Loyola isn’t anywhere near the airport.

Take the Loyola Drive exit. I-10 Exit 221.

The signs are up they just have tape over the "N.O. Intl' Airport" part.
The road isn't 100% done, but it's supposed to be completed by Monday.
The current exit is changing to "Rental car return/ Economy parking"
