Another thing that's nuts is how much these guys who are nearly broke will spend on their bass boats.
People have different priorities.

You're going to die young if you let something so insignificant bother you. All of that saving will have been for naught.

Not a car thread goes by without a few of them bragging about making bank while driving a 10 year old econobox like it's some kind of achievement to not drive a nicer vehicle.
Yep.

Guys, I'm so happy with my decision to drive a shitbox even though I could totally afford something better.
What's that, you didn't pay cash? You can't really afford your nice car.
Blah blah blah.

Your jealousy is extremely obvious.

Why does this bother You? Some people just don't find value in vehicles beyond a certain point.

Why? I just look at them and think "I hope having no savings is worth that nice ride" , chuckle to myself and roll away in my paid off 165k miles truck.

With how reliable cars these days and the technology widely available on base models, you're just paying for a name. I think $30k is my limit from here on out.

Yet they have to litter every car thread with their same recycled opinion.
That cloth cuts both ways.

It doesn't bother me. It's just a funny trend you'll see in most car threads around here.
Just like it doesn't bother me that vegans and crossfitters always remind you of the fact that they are vegan/crossfitters. It doesn't bother me, it's just funny that they are so consistent.

So they should stay out of the thread so you can post in every one without seeing alternative views? I didn't see any limitations in the OP

That's my attitude. There isn't anything out there now that I like enough to separate me from my money. In fact a lot of models seem to get progressively uglier with each generation - especially pickups.

That's not what I said, but OK.

Probably because it's a prudent decision.

It's prudent to not spend all day on a message board when you should be working too. Yet here we all are.

My job is on weekends baw. If I ain't in class, I'm sitting at home shitposting, or out with friends.

I wouldn't want to go more than $75,000
Ever.
Ever.

WTH kind of butchered cliché is this?
Posted on 4/17/17 at 4:38 pm to Eli Goldfinger
I made a hair over 300k last year. I'd never spend more than $57 on a car note.
I've got an OT dick and a money board brain.
