We’ve seen the larger war the world has ever seen
Right now is probably the most peaceful this planet has ever been in terms of nations in violent conflict with each other.

There's never been a better time to live than today with all the technological and societal advancements we enjoy.

I agree with the past 100 years. Humanity has faced greater change in a shorter amount of Time than ever before. We have the power to end ourselves in minutes. We basically live with a gun to our heads

There are many...

The rise of temujin (ghengis khan)
Assassination of archduke Ferdinand.
Declaration of Independence
Signing of the Magna Carta
Black Plague...

There isn’t a greatest one. Just a long history of conquerers and the conquered

I'd agree, but it's also been the most evil bc of homos, abortion, etc.

It's really not close bc of all op listed and several others.

Period between 1450 and 1750
People like Isaac Newton, Galileo and Christopher Columbus opened minds to new concepts and removed limitations and misconceptions.

The tech revolution is the most significant in my opinion. It has, and will continue, to change the world and the lives of every person on the planet.

Our society will have evolved to something quite different when it is over, if it ever does end.

The tech revolution will conrinue for decades bringing more and more dramatic changes.

This is a very, maybe most, notable thing. If that wouldn't have happened it is hard to say if muslims would have been stopped otherwise.

I’d have to say the life and immediate aftermath of the life of Jesus Christ. No other figure has shaped or transformed human history remotely as much as he.

And if you’re scoffing at this notion, just stop and consider the infulence the Church and Christanity overall has had on human history the past 2,000 years. Nothing comes close in regards to worldwide infulence.

What about Bob Gibson in 1968?
That was only one season. Walsh’s 1.82 era was for a 7 year major league career.

Between 1900- and today, humans have made more progress than all of the time humans had been on this earth to 1899.

The Colombus era. Two worlds that were previously cut off came together.
And no... Leif Eriksen doesn’t count

It wasn’t until Constantine adopted Christianity that it truly took off. I’d say that was the biggest event in Christianity.

Present day

Like OweO said, we have made more advancements in the past 100 then the rest of history combined.
