I’d rather go to Memphis than Nashville. At least Memphis has Beal Street, Graceland and Liberty Land Amusement park

Yep. I know them both.

As I said before, to say there isn't any beach in KW would be inaccurate, Smathers Beach while not the biggest is hard to beat for beauty.

I've always felt Niagara falls was overrated.
It's pretty and impressive, but I was ready to leave after five minutes.

The place we stayed on a senior high school trip had their own beach trucked in, so that was nice. It was fun, but for the cost there are a lot of places I’d rather go so I guess that puts it in the overrated category?

We don't really go to Bozeman area much anymore. Used to love going down and staying at the springs, shopping, hitting the bars, etc., but it's changed a lot in just the last few years.
I have no doubt - I've only been here a little over two years. I live in Gallatin Canyon and mostly don't stray from here outside of a trip for groceries, a weekend away, etc.,
Ever been to Pony? Probably my favorite bar I've ever been to, especially for the duck races.

Orange Beach and Gulf Shores AL. Can’t accommodate the crowds now and still building. 3 hours for a table at a restaurant, 2 hours for an elevator if you are above the 4th floor, lines 8 deep at midnight in Publix and Walmart, only 2 roads in, more than a mile long in standing traffic before the toll booths.

I'll let yall know how Boston is in 2 weeks. I have no idea how our group settled on there.

I'd rather go to Cabo than a TX beach for a short weekend stay.
I can't imagine there are too many people that would prefer to travel to a shitty Texas beach over Cabo.

The Riverwalk. It comes in second to Bourbon Street for trashiness.
I mean, you won’t get shot on the Riverwalk.

Great entertainment.
Yes, if you’re 10 years old.

Two of those three aren’t smathers beach. Smathers faces East so you couldn’t look out and see the sun set over the water. I’m fairly certain the fist pic isn’t either. No one who lives in KW goes to Smathers except maybe to watch the fireworks fourth of july

Same. When people come to visit, they always want recommendations on what to do in the area. Bro, you're in Montana. Enjoy the land...the best part about Montana.

Nope, never been. When we head south, we're usually heading through Idaho these days.

Yep.. spent many, many weeks there for work, and after you hit a couple restaurants on the Riverwalk, it’s over .. could never for the life of me figure out how it became such a massively popular trade show/convention site
It’s a relatively clean and safe downtown. It’s very walkable. You have a massive convention center and the Alamodome that can host pretty much anything as far as size goes. It’s centrally located within Texas. It’s a short drive from the airport to downtown. There’s plenty of hotel space.
I’m not raving about SA as a vacation destination. Personally, I think it has charm and lots of history, but I think it’s clear why it hosts so many major events.

Hotels and golf are outrageously priced.

NP were easily the biggest disappointment I've ever experienced in my travels...and I've been to HOA
Great Smoky Mountains NP is amazing and has some very legit hiking.
With that said, you can find equally awesome and even some superior hiking and views in places like Pisgah and Linville nearby.

As an adult, if your kids are independent enough to be on their own for a bit, take advantage and head over to one of the restaurants in Epcot or simply enjoy a drink in one of the lounges / pubs.
Disney (CA or FL)
Key West
As for Key West, I would stay in one of the other islands and make a couple of day trips to Key West.
And for the people listing Las Vegas: if you can't enjoy that town for 4 days or so, the problem is YOU.

Orlando sucks
As much as I hated working industry events in Las Vegas, if your expense account can handle it you'll have a memorable time.
Orlando is just a nasty tourist trap.
