What is the max amount of money you are willing to spend for a high school reunion?

Assume you are attending with a spouse. This is only for a one evening event and does not include travel costs. What is the most you would want to spend just for admission?

At first, I read the title as how much someone would have to PAY me to go to one. That was an interesting thread.

Depends. Am I out of town and having to travel there?
What is included?
Is there a chick I would love to see again?
FYI we had a small alumni reunion on NUC for people around there that was insane and worth every penny.

I have no idea what's normal here. I'd pay more for something not lame, I guess.

My wife's class is in a war because class officers from 20 years ago are shirking their duties in reunion planning, which I find hilarious. "When you ran for VP of our class at 17 years old you knew planning reunions would be part of it."

I mean, I personally wouldn't pay anything because I have zero desire to see anyone I don't already see.

But if you're asking because you are going to your reunion and they're doing open bar/catered food/renting a venue, and asking you to pay to get in, I think you have to be relatively understanding that it costs money and they have to pass off that cost somehow.

Zero. Which is also how much contact I've had with anyone I went to high school with after graduating.
