What is the largest amount of money you have ever found?

I looked at my bank account this morning.

About $450 rolled up one night in a shopping center parking lot that had several bars operating at the time. This was back in the early 1980's. Haven't found so much as a dollar since then.
ETA: I did find a wallet a year or two ago with hundreds of dollars in it, but was able to track down the owner and returned it to him.

Back in the 80's, I worked as a bar back and a bartender. I knew to always look under the bar at closing.
Well, one Mardi Gras, I was at the bar that is on the left as you walk into Pat O's. it was wall to wall people. I look down and find $600+ dollars.
I have found $100 bills more times than I can count.

About 12 years ago at McDonalds in Matthews. My wife went into the bathroom to change my daughter and found a purse. She bought it back to the table to see if she could find out who it was for. She found the ladies business card ID and called her. She told my wife she was leaving to go on vacation and had $4500 in her purse. Offered my wife a reward but she refused it.

FOund a wallet at the bottom of the ocean (about 10 ft down that is ) and it had 1,500 cash in it. Asked the hotel if that guest was staying at our hotel and sure enough he was. Met him in the lobby and he gave me 500 wet dollars from it. Would’ve preferred his wife in retrospect but alas, he gave me 5 hundy

The most money I ever found was $17M. And that wasn't in cash, that was in an offshore bank account belonging to a person who was stealing from the US Army.

The most cash I ever found was a little over $3M when we busted an on base drug house. A little over $3M in cash and that much again worth the drugs. Plus 3 pitbulls (not the rapper)
