That was in vehicles though, made several elk hunts hiking with pack horses into the Flat Tops up at 11K ft.

I got my hands on of one of those 1000 mg thc chocolate bars from Oklahoma once. I ate one square and I was cross eyed. I had to go to manual breathing mode. Ole lady would up blowing chunks after we went through a severe case of giggles.

Lost Man hike outside Aspen gets right at 13,000 if you go off trail a bit over the ridge behind crater lake.

It’s one of my favorite places on Earth. I feel like on the set of LOTR.

Yeah, we went to Estes Park twice, the first time we only stayed one night in a hotel and didn’t find out about the Stanley until later that day after already checking in to the other hotel. Spent the rest of the time camping in the park. Didn’t catch much but it was prettu cool fly fishing amongst a herd of elk.

Went back later and made a point to stay at the Stanley.

It's funny that them movie was mostly filmed in the side buildings and not the picture you see in the movie. The hedges are like waist high.

Traveling through there I learned the meaning of Coors "Rocky Mountains Streams" they are amazing.
