I was 14 or 15 at the gym and they had the oj bronco chase on the one box tv they had at the sign in counter.

The one I really got into was years later, the Chandra levy case. It was all over the news then 911 happened and never heard anything about it.

From the I'm old but not dead yet, go back to the 50's.
I'm not sure which came first, but two different friends had TVs:
The announcement of the end of the Korean 'War" at F&R's
Pictures flown across the Atlantic and broadcast from either NYC or DC of Queen Elizabeth's Coronation (the picture was snowy, but we could see her walking down an aisle. (That was at J&M's)

I’m 59 and remember an announcement at school that Reagan had been shot. Also vaguely remember a Royal wedding in the late 70s or early 80s.

I'll consider it major because it's the one I actually remember being moved by, was the Waco Branch Davidian FBI disaster.

Im 41. I remember watching the Berlin wall falling coverage. Didn't know what was going on but remember seeing people standing ontop the wall and walking thru it. Next thing was Rodney King 2 or 3 years later.

I was only 4 but I was there.

Got a piece of the wall that was spray painted.
