The governor was removed from from my van in order to put the electronic hand controls in it so coming home on 415 I opened that bitch up and was going faster than the 110mph limit. If i had to guess, I was probably close to 120mph.

135 mph in a Jaguar XJS on I 10 in the middle of the afternoon. I was clerking at a law firm and the partner had to get to BR to talk to an LSU engineering professor on a case. We were making really good time when I glaced down and saw the needle at 130-135. You really would have no idea in those cars . You didn't feel it.

February of 2009 I hit 132mph going through the Mojave Desert on I40 in my 2008 Mustang GT/CS. It still had some legs left to stretch (top speed was reportedly 140) but the car started getting a bit of a "floaty" feeling so I decided that was more than enough.

I made it from a cabin in Percy Quinn State Park to Dominican High School in exactly an hour in a '99 Mustang GT back in the day. 104 miles door to door, so I averaged 104mph
That includes driving out of the park and the surface streets getting to the school. I was north of 140 on occasion on that trip. Not the smartest decision I've ever made.
Did 140 something on an R6 a few years ago in between BR and NOLA.

157 on River Road in a Z28 Camaro. Very stupid. Was taking curves at 135-140 and accelerating in the straight away. Makes me sick to my stomach to think about now.

Damn, if you were going 135 on I10 in the middle of the afternoon, it really must have been a smooth ride.
