So, you saw a transformer blow?

Well, I almost died from bacterial blood meningitis. So close to dying I lost control of my bowels. At the time I wasn't scared enough but looking t back I'm scared how close I was to the brink

Once saw a man try and burn a wood piece with a strange totem pole like face on it. Said it was giving him and his family issues. Freaky thing was is that the wooden piece burnt all but where the face was carved on it. Weird stuff.

I found a lady who had blown her brains out in her car after playing basketball at the park. First day of summer so we went to the park to play some basketball on a beautiful day. We thought the person had just had to much to drink and I went over to knock on the window and wake her up. Her hair was soaked in blood and I turned around to look at my friends who were on the other side of the parking lot to say we needed to report it and then she twitched and blood fell like rain. I ran like a little school girl. We drove to the police station and told them what happened and had to convince them to go investigate. Found out a year later that she lived a for a few weeks after. Apparently her husband was abusive and this was her way out.

I also used to work at a nursery while in college. I went to pull some plants for an order and I opened the doors to the greenhouse to find a man who had decided to hang himself. No clue why he offed himself.

Got called to a residence for a chest pain call. A woman who was schizophrenic opened up door with gun pointed at us. After talking her in to not pointing it at us she turned it on herself and pulled trigger on her stomach. We still worked her. It she of course died.

My older brother died when I was 27. A few months later, I had a vivid cold sweat dream that he was sitting on my bed, looking at me with pure white hair. He could not speak. Unexpectedly, my older sister called me the next day for no reason. We lived 300 miles apart and really only spoke at holidays. She said she was feeling so bad about Mark, but she had a dream that everything was ok. I asked her what he looked like, and she said his hair was white and he would not speak. I told her my of my own dream and she asked me what time I woke up. I said the clock said 3:24 AM. She screamed!

We are a big catholic family, but not all that religious. Yet I have been comforted since this event in the fall of 1991 that although I do not buy into any particular religous view of things, there is something out there beyond our own experience.

Witnessed the scene of a deadly plane crash just a few minutes after impact, about 12 years ago. We couldn't get any closer than approximately 20 feet because the fire was so hot. All 3 aboard burned to a crisp, and the lapbelt cut the front passenger almost in half. It was just an awful, helpless feeling.
The magnesium components of the landing gear started burning, shooting white hot flames. Grizzly scene that I'll never unsee.

This happened to me when I was a kid visiting relatives near Waveland. I was out crabbing by myself one summer night. The tide was out so you could walk out very far from the shore before getting into deep water. Nobody was around, it was quiet, and I was focused on looking for crabs with my flashlight. Suddenly I sensed that someone was near me. I turned the beam to my side and I saw this crazy looking dude heading straight for me parallel to the beach. I was paralyzed with fear. He yelled, "nobody can hear you scream out here." I threw my bucket at him and hauled arse to the shore and my relatives house. Told my cousins and we went back out looking for the guy but couldn't find him. The next morning I was leaving the house when I saw the bucket in the driveway. Written on it were the words "catch you next time" We called the police but they just lectured us about wasting their time.

Probably the worst I've ever seen is when exiting a subway in Beijing, one guy beat the dog shite out of another man on a staircase going up, and there was blood everywhere and the victims leg was rapidly twitching. He slammed his head repeatably against a stair. I'm almost sure he killed him, or best case is a vegetable. Blood all over the place. That was fricked up.

Would you like to share that story with the class? Sounds scurry.
