I've always owned Honda/Acura so I've been lucky with reliability, but today my coworker was talking to me about how his Jeep Grand Cherokee has spent more time in the shop than on the road.
What is the worst car you've ever owned?

Comfy arse soft cloth seats and sweet moonroof, but still a ugly piece in 2004

1982 Chevy Malibu transmission rebuilds, smoked like a train, and at 86k the engine died.

Jeep Grand Cherokee
Zero issues, did tires and brakes around 90k, change the oil every 8-9k.
I don’t beat it up.
The shifter is crappy, there’s a recall for it but I don’t want the “fixed” version.
Lexus for Mrs. Füt and Honda Accords for the little Feats means I don’t have any first-hand knowledge of what a lemon is.

1976 Toyota Pickup Truck, from ~1992 to ~1996 at LSU.
Acquired it when my roommate got his second DWI. Call from jail was "can you bail me out for $500?". My response was "my Tercel died, you don't need your truck, its mine if I bail you out".
Couple years later I broke the drive shaft on a push-start. A friend helped me make a new one out of steel pipe and the existing u-joints.
If anyone parked like an a-hole at CEBA in those years, and got your precious Maxima or new truck dented, that was me enforcing parking decency, with my blue parking enforcer.

1978 304 V8 CJ-7 (purchased in 84?)
Crap broke on that thing all the time. Of course I ragged it..The one that broke that had me laughing was the bell-housing broke where the clutch bracket attached. I mean come on..I had to start the car in first gear to get home. I had for 3 years.
Edit: I forgot to add that I could start it without a key. This was common with Jeeps. All you had to do was with the steering wheel locked just move it back and forth and turn the ignition. I proved that on many Jeeps.
