I had the 97 t bird. Was a great car for me but I had the v8, which had no problems. The early 90s ones did.

I haven't really had that many problem with my vehicles considering they were either Honda, Acura or Toyota. The worst one out of those 3 would be the 2004 Acura TSX. I had multiple issues with the AC unit going out, transmission issues and power steering issues.

2008 Silverado LTZ 4x4.
Bought brand new from dealer. It was the first brand new vehicle I had ever purchased. About $45K after options and rebates, etc. Had every option under the sun.
Two total engine rebuilds before 40K miles.
ECM went out at about 50K.
Sunroof leaked.
Constant O2 sensor issues.
A/C compressor went out at 90K.
Cam shaft went out at 100K miles.
Gas tube was poorly designed resulting in the nozzle constantly shutting off at the gas station.
Gas fume sensor constantly failed making engine light burn eternal.
I followed maintenance schedule by the book.
If it were otherwise reliable, I would have driven it forever. It was comfortable and perfect for my needs.
Never again GM.

1985 Audi 5000S - put more money in it to keep it running than I paid for it

83 Chevy truck- left me on side of the road at least five times. Burnt oil faster than Exxon could refine it. Engine died at 85K.
Current 2015 F150 3.5 Lariat 46K miles- replaced several modules multiple times. Battery dies with radio on after 15 mins, on 3rd battery. Throttle body failures. Random alarms. Radio display freezes up. Spent more time at the dealer than my driveway. I am positive there is an issue with the wiring harness when built. Filed lemon law.
Call me a glutton but my next truck will be a F250 6.2. Miss driving a 3/4 ton.

2002 Chevy Trailblazer. Nothing but a bundle of electrical problems on 4 wheels. After numerous problems, they replaced the wiring harness under warranty. It needed another when I got rid of it at just under 80,000 miles. The repair bills were like having another car note.

I've only owned toyotas so I have done well.
I bought a 99 corolla that was totaled off of craigslist for 500 bucks. It had 180 k miles on it and most of the damage was cosmetic. One of the steering rods and y plates was done. I went to a junkyard and spend 200 bucks on parts and the car was running . It was 3 different colors but the A/C worked. I had to change the spark plug wires about once a year. I put 120k miles on it in the 4 years I had it. I sold it to a guy for 900 and he left it sit in his yard and all the oil leaked out...he drove it without checking and the engine seized up on him.

Transmission went out at 75K. Paint pealed off the trunk at 2 years old. Total POS and I have never owned a GM product since.

1987 Buick Skyhawk with manual transmission. Bought it in 94 in high school for $750 with money I had saved up. It was a POS, but dammit, I loved that car more than any I have had since. Was in the driveway washing and waxing it every weekend. This isn't the exact one I had, but close enough as to what I could find on Google. pretty much the same except mine had no tint and the rims were a little different.

1995 VW Passat. What a piece of shite. Had an electrical problem that caused the battery to go dead. Virtually never found the answer despite 100's in repair attempts.
2010 Jeep Patriot. What a complete and utter POS. Will never own another jeep. What crap. Had a weird special transmission that when the tranny light went on, you had to REPLACE the motherfricker. Not repair it. Cost me nearly 4000 bucks and that was when the car was about 60K miles. Jeeps are crap.

1999 Chevy S10 ZR2. Brakes wore out with the quickness, 2 transmission rebuilds, a bunch of random sensors and electrical stuff. Finally the intake manifold cracked and I traded it in. Went back to Toyota and never looked back.
I've owned a 96 camry, 2000 camry, 16 corolla, 04 tacoma, 02 tundra, 11 4runner, and 13 tundra all with absolutely zero issues, only routine maintenance. Sure Toyota's break too, but it's a much safer bet than pretty much anything else out there.

I totally get you!! I have a 2008 4runner with 217k miles and have done routine maintenance and have had zero issues. Toyota is all that I will buy from now on. My wife has a 2011 Sienna with 167k miles and the same with it.

I bought a brand new 2006 Mazda Miata not long after getting stationed at Edwards AFB CA. Worst car I've ever owned.

Weird. I had a Trailblazer. It was definitely one of the better vehicles I've owned.
My wife had PT Cruiser that sucked. We actually had to switch back to a much older, higher mileage Trailblazer because of how crappy that PT Cruiser was.

Lime green Dodge Colt wagon. Smoked like a freight train. Bought it for $200 in 1977.
