Use hydrofluoric acid. It'll get rid of the hair, soap scum, tree roots, the pipes, the bathtubs, and your subfloor.
I laughed way too hard at this.

You share a bathroom with Kay Parker and Honey Wilder?

See if Marsellus will call The Wolf. He'll tell you what you need to do.

Go buy you a snake and clean as much as possible out of the line. Don’t waste your money on drain cleaners.
i almost broke every finger on my right hand in a nasty electric snake accident.
all i have to say is have a 'spotter' when using an electric snake because it only takes a half second distraction to wrap your gloved hand up in the unit.

tell her to stick it to the wall like the rest of us and then throw it in the trash when she gets out of the shower?
also, brushing her hair BEFORE getting in the shower will help tremendously. especially if she wears it up or in a ponytail alot.

I know your pain.
I was very skeptical when I purchased this because other similar products didn't budge the hair. But it worked wonders.

Scotch hair and grease drain cleaner. I get it at Home Depot. It comes in a black bottle inside a plastic zip top bag. I have a wife ( no pics) and two daughters (definitely no pics). It may stink right after you pour it down the drain, so turn on the vent or open a window if one is in the bathroom

anyone who lives with women knows my dilemma, hair clogging up deep into the drain pipes.
Yeah, I apparently married a Wookiee who then gave birth to my half-Wookiee daughter. The loose hair flows down my hallways like tumbleweed through a ghost town. I bought a Roomba to help, and their hair clogs the Roomba to where I need to maintenance it every couple of days.
Anyway, I try to avoid chemicals as much as possible. What I've done in the past, when the hair clogs the shower is stuff a wet rag into the overflow (this is very important, and most people don't do this) then gird my loins and plunge the frick out of the shower. Plunge the frick out of it, dammit. Hopefully this will push the hair clog into the larger main drain.
Also, as someone else mentioned, get one of those drain covers that catch the wife-Wookiee hair before it can run down the drain.

PROBLEM SOLVED!
Actually Sulfuric Acid works great for cleaning scum and hair out of drain pipes. Much stronger than Drano and a lot less corrosive than hydrofluoric acid.
I'd use Drano first and then go to sulfuric acid if you need something stronger.
It's cheap and at any pool supply store. Stay away from the muriatic acid, good for cleaning concrete but not pipes.

This is dangerous as all hell but recommended to me by an old plumber.
Run hot water into the hair-clogged drain.
Pour Draino crystals in after the hot water drains. (A lot)
Let crystals sit for a few minutes - add some more if needed.
Dump a pot of boiling water into the drain.
Wear eye and face protection because it may blow back.
Prepare for awful smell.

I had success with an enzyme product once, where you pour hot water down the drain, pour in the enzyme mix, and then wait like 2 days - no water in drain for those two days.
Those zipit things are cheap and pull out nasty hair clogs but they aren't 4 feet long.
