ETA: years ago our physician put me on a short-term med that stopped up my digestive tract. I tried prune juice, fiber, mineral oil, a bunch of other stuff that didn't work. Finally called his office, and the nurse told me to get MIRALAX (or generic polyethylene glycol in a similar-looking bottle). It solved the problem right away.

Vinegar does this to me. My whole day is shot if I accidentally eat anything someone has cooked that has vinegar in it
