Try WU Storm.

Gives some real specific information if you want it to. It’s the only weather app I use.

I use in combination, depending on the circumstance, Storm Radar, MyRadar & Weather Underground.

this is the best radar. you can save the map view of your location too.

I like "Rainy Days" app for radar.
Not sure if it's available on iPhone, though.

This is what I use and I've got it pretty dialed in, but I just downloaded Weather Underground based on the recommendations here. I take my weather very seriously, so I'll report back with my thoughts.

Radar scope is cool if you know enough. It’s a one time $10 fee but it gives you everything you need to see what’s coming.
