That fear is a mofo and reigns supreme for many

There are more stupid people than I thought.

The hokey pokey is really what it is all about.

I learned that I "practice social distancing" in my everyday life pandemic or not.
Pretty much. Even among people I've always kept a little separation.

This started to make me think about how much of our military equipment is made overseas?
Not much, actually.
I work for a defense contractor and we typically have to "buy American". And we always have to sign a statement that we won't use any Chinese made communication items.

People don’t want to think for themselves. They just want to be taken care of.

that most of the time Scientists and medical professionals turn out to be right, and the people on Facebook who shout about conspiracy theories turn out to be wrong.
I mean I knew this already the crisis confirmed it

That humans apparently aren't capable of modeling pandemics within a reasonable range of accuracy.

Whether this is true with Coronavirus is very TBD

Most people are more than willing to give up personal liberties under the guise of safety.
Also, we are entirely too reliant on overseas manufacturing.

What conspiracy theories?

I despise my job, like the people I work with, and hate the owner and half of the essential personnel in other departments.
At the end of this, they will all be getting a great big frick you as I take a few months off.

on the Chinese sh**
Back in the day when I worked offshore and brought a Chinese shackle out, a rig hand tossed it overboard and handed me an USA model. He said buy American, don't trust a load over your head to Chinese sh**
On what Ive learned - I can work from home so I know what I will wear once I retire

I was not a person made to work from home. Not organized or focused enough to do it at this point in my life.

I've learned that we are woefully unprepared for this type of event.
I've learned that we outsource way too many critical items.
I've learned that I need to build a home gym.
