I’ve learned that I spent way too much money on stupid shite

I’ve learned that my life was way too busy doing stupid shite

I'm sure you aren't alone. Which begs the question: when things get back to normal, will people actually change their behavior based on what they have learned? Or will they go back to the same old habits...

1. I was spending a ton of money eating out and drinking coffee made at CC's and Starbucks.
2. I can still bake a mean loaf of bread
3. I really needed a vacation, and did not realize it.
4. Social distancing takes some getting used to. Some people may never get it, you know the ones I speak of.
5. We may never get all of the money the stimulus promised
6. Spouses should never be together all day every day. I am working in retirement.
7.If you don't drive a Prius for three weeks, the 12v battery dies, and it is not cheap to replace.
8.Our way of life may not be the way it was pre-Covid for a while. A long while.
9. You have to be practically dead to get a test in BR.
10. Having a garden seemed like a good idea, until you realized you had to dig one.

I’ve learned that the general public has zero critical thinking skills.

Also, scary how quickly people embrace authoritarian government.

Yes this is very true.

on the Chinese sh**
Back in the day when I worked offshore and brought a Chinese shackle out, a rig hand tossed it overboard and handed me an USA model. He said buy American, don't trust a load over your head to Chinese sh**
On what Ive learned - I can work from home so I know what I will wear once I retire

I've learned that some oil rig shackles are big as hell.

I finally learned how to cook.

Got out fishing, bring back Trigger, Red, and Cobia fishing and stay off land as much as possible. Being on the water, drinking a few cold beers, listening to good tunes and catching an ice sunburn is a perfect day for me.
