Middle East and Asia. I can't stand listening to those Asians talking all that jibbish.

Why Australia, Hawaii, Japan or South America? I realize a lot of South America is a shithole but there are nice places to visit

I really have no desire to go anywhere in the Middle East, with the exception of maybe Dubai or Jerusalem. I think Istanbul would be cool to see, but I feel like the risk would be higher than the reward so count me out.

That's silly. Yeah I can understand not wanting to go to Yemen or Iraq or something like that... But the middle East has some great spots.

Istanbul is one of the most visited cities in the world. Great place to visit and super fascinating. Get out more and live.

Anyplace the State Department tells me is not safe.

Other than that, ready to go anywhere.

Australia has the deadliest of every living thing there. Deadliest insects, snakes, sea life, etc. If I were convicted of a crime and the judge told me, ‘you have a choice, one year in Angola or two years in the finest neighborhood in Australia’ I’d have to give that some careful thought.
Hawaii bores the living shite out of me. Mountains are better in Colorado and Montana. Better beach places on the mainland. Who gives a shite about volcanoes? Those leis make me sick!

As far as beaches you can actually swim at, name a few that are better on the mainland.

Might want to travel before you make these judgments. There are nice people wherever you go...quit watching so much 24/7 news. You’d be surprised what’s outside your little box.

And Turkey is not the Middle East.

Iraqis and Kurds are some of the nicest people you’ll meet. Preconceived notions...

Is Iraq a shithole?...mostly yes, but that has a lot of ugly history. There are also beautiful parts of Iraq.

LMAO at people saying they don’t want to go places because they can’t stand the accents/language. Says it all...

Eh, I wouldn't say it's not ME, just not fully ME.

Certainly not fully European. They call it "transcontinental."

Istanbul was awesome back in '09.

Geographically, yes. Culturally, no. That’s what I meant. It’s way different. It’s the crossroads of European influence.

I visited the 'peace village' on the DMZ in Panmunjom. It was so surreal that I've wanted to visit NK ever since. The whole Otto Warmbier thing has cooled me off of the idea though.

I'd go to North Korea before alot of places to be honest. I think your chances of being involved in random violence is basically zero there.

There aren't many countries I would flat out say no to visiting without consideration. Somalia, maybe. A few in the middle east (just because most of the countries I've visited in the middle east are boring as hell).

That's probably pretty wise. Getting tortured to death doesn't sound like the way I want to go
