No. I don’t travel much. Pretty happy being down South. I would say I am interested in things, I mostly watch documentaries but haven’t had much desire to go places

I'm admittedly not very well traveled internationally but I've been to 47 of the 50 states. We traveled all over the country when I was a kid. Maybe he grew up poor?

Don’t know if I would say “poor” but certainly not baller. Kinda more month to month. Don’t think travel was a high priority for my parents, we just did couple beach trips and a trip to Arkansas mountains once as a kid.

Understood. My dad always loved the mountains. He just chose a career tied to the heavy industry here or we probably wouldn't have lived in the South. We spent weeks in Colorado, Montana, Utah, Wyoming growing up.

You do what makes you happy. If that doesn’t include seeing other places and cultures, so be it. That’s your prerogative.

We enjoy traveling and try to do at least one international trip a year. Thinking our next stop should be Copenhagen.

Bucket list item for me is to attend an Indian wedding over there. Looks like an awesome experience.

I loved it too. My dad's favorite place was always Bozeman. He hates the summer in the South and bought a place up there as soon as he retired. I'm planning on taking the family up there this summer. My daughter has never been.

I did a lot of traveling when I was younger, don't do much anymore. Scenery is my thing, don't give a rats about food or culture.

Third to last: North Korea

Second to last: Mecixo outside of highly protected tourist areas

Absolute last: Middle East

Those seem like the the most likely to end up kidnapped, arse raped or decapitated.

What's crazy is most of the middle East is pristine and has insanely low crime. Alot of it is actually very nice.

Mexico. The culture is coming here anyway so why go ? I also think Americans that spend money in Mexico are supporting Mexico so they’re basically unAmerican under the current circumstances. We are basically at war for our way of life with Mexico.

Lol what a horrible worldview

Iraqis and Kurds are some of the nicest people you’ll meet. Preconceived notions...

Is Iraq a shithole?...mostly yes, but that has a lot of ugly history. There are also beautiful parts of Iraq.

I am a resident of Iraq/Kurdistan. I'm here right now at work. I have walked the streets at night alone with no worries going out to eat and smoke hooka pipes with my Kurdish brethen. I fly thru Istanbul and have spent some days there as well as Jordan. What's funny is the things the Kurds say about the south Iraqis in Erbil, talk about prejudice lol. Istanbul is incredible btw. It's beautiful up here in the northern part along the Turk/Syrian border. I see the PKK almost daily and they know I'm here but don't say much, just smile and wave as they do.
