60k original tires... Then they are bald and that's close to 1200 or more plus

At most it should have 24K.
I don't know, baw. People tend to drive the shite out of these things.

The miles kill it.
I checked a 2011's value a couple of weeks ago with 60K miles and like vehicles were retailing for around 45.
These trucks hold value really well.
(Way better than Tundra's, sorry KY

True, but all books devalue b/c of miles.
They also add for low miles, so there's that.

I think we both know the truth.

they hold value because they are grossly overpriced... a maxed out platinum 250 is close to 80K
....... only fools would pay that.... and 80 k is without the Yeti stickers and truck nuts

By the way, I'm considering an F150 in all seriousness. I can buy a Lariat F150 Crew Cab for less than a Tundra Limited Double Cab.
I'm putting in a lot of time on this, as it's a 20 year decision.

The best deal is to go somewhere that predominately focuses on land based oil exploration and buy one. Then you will get the best deal.

TBH, they aren't really comparable vehicles, but the value of these trucks, even w/ high miles, is pretty exceptional.

Trying to compare trim levels is quite difficult. I'm finding that either a high end XLT or low end Lariat CrewCab is reasonably equivalent to the Tundra Limited Double Cab.
I know it's not apples to apples, but I'm trying to get close. The Toyota's just have no mark down on their MSRP beyond $1K, so it makes the double cab about $4K higher than the Crew Cab F150.
Edit: Said that wrong. The top paragraph, when I meant trim level comparison, I was talking price not features.

I assume you mean SuperCrew, not SuperCab.

I think I'm only interested in the 5.0. I want the V8 and not ecoboost.

Stay away from the Easter Booster..... a black sales guy called it that

For a 20 year truck, I agree.
Tough call, they arte both excellent.
I feel like Ford's electronics and rear-seat room the best right now.
