My daughter and wife are terrified of lizards. Let a regular green lizard get in the house and they are both on the back porch until I get it. I showed the wife this thread and she couldn't even look at the picture.

We used to have those geckos at our old house. I was constantly trying to catch one of them in the house. My wife would threaten to go to a hotel if I didn't get it

Its a skink, my son catches them and feeds them to his frogs or fish.

Male Broadheaded skink. Don’t worry. It won’t eat you.

Do they have blue fork like tongues?

My SO caught one and put it in a box in my car and it escaped. I wouldn’t drive my car until he caught it.

Btw...they love hot humid environments and he loved the car. Finally caught him on a sticky trap.

I think that one is harmless, but don't let your dog get ahold of a skink with the blue tail. They can make your dog sick.

Been seeing more than usual of these around here lately. I saw one identical to yours this morning on my bricks and I'm in Greenwell Springs as well.

It's still very much gecko country though.

Looks like infested 70’s brick on a classic 3 BR/2 BA ranch style house to me.
