Yeah I agree, this looks beyond just spoiled/drugs. This poor dad has most likely been through hell with her.

Most likely has spent tens of thousands of dollars trying to get her help but unless she actually wants to change it will never happen. I felt that man’s pain, it’s easy to armchair quarterback the situation by saying to just whip the shite out of her but there is always so much going on in these cases.

"Yeah, ok. Let's walk across the street to the starbucks."
"No daddy, they don't do it right there. I want the starbucks on maitland."
"Sweetie, that's a 30 minute drive. There are 15 starbucks between here and there."
"Daddy, maitland! I'm just trying to spend more time with you. gaaawwwd!"

"Daddy, order me a double-shot frappuccino with non-dairy creamer with extra caramel. I'm going to the bathroom real quick."
(50 minutes later)

(gets in car. Dad notices she's high as a kite.)

"It's not my fault daddy. I ran into Ignacio. You know he manipulates me! It's your fault for bringing me here!!!"
(dad slowly exhales and makes a decision.)

My daughter has a bachelor's and master's in Physics, Minors in math and chemestry and is a PHD student. I dont have those problems.

I raised my daughter to not behave in such a manner. Pretty obvious she’s never:
1. Been disciplined
2. Held to any sort of standard
3. Taught to respect authority
4. Had to make a serious decision
5. Taught how to be a productive member of society
She’s been coddled and spoiled her entire life to the point she’s grown into a pure narcissist. Her parents failed her completely
