You remember the end of Men in Black? With the lockers? I think about that all the time.

I read something similar in a UFO conspiracy book along those lines.
It suggested (or stated depending on whom you ask) that our world was an experiment and that it would someday be terminated.
If that turned out to be true, I hope our extermination is quick and painless.

They're just sitting there...watching....seeing how humans evolve...seeing if this experiment among many will be the experiment that gives them their great discovery...

A more likely scenario is that demons which were previously angels and now fallen are presently and in times past, masquerading as aliens under the leadership of Satan, to fool humans into the lie that there is no God.
