Most people are incapable of independent thought.

That we've totally accepted the notion of living to work instead of working to live. I'm interested in seeing how that might change for some who now realize they can do their job just as efficiently (or more so) from home. Or will seek out employment that has a better work/life balance.

I learned that government is now the opiate of the masses.

And law enforcement is very willing to “just follow orders.”

Locally I’ve learned that if another Katrina comes the moronic Nola government will 1000% botch it

The fact that people aren’t up in arms, and I mean literally, over this comment from an elected official is defeating

This. They see a Facebook post one person posted, with an empty store shelf of toilet paper. They share the post, then the world sets off a panic. Now you can see literally see the fear that CNN and other networks have instilled in some people. They lose there minds when they see people not six feet apart or not wearing a mask.

This is less than 30x the number of people who have lost their jobs, benefits, and insurance.

This is also the number of an extremely bad flu season. I’m not saying this thing is the flu, I’m saying a lot the same people who died so far would be extremely at risk of a very bad flu.

We need to protect those most vulnerable and make accommodations for them. We also need to realize that we potentially destroyed the lives of tens of millions with our actions and forced ourselves to go into the worst economic climate since the Great Depression. Now people are clamoring for policies that furthered the Great Depression.
