While there is a gray area when it comes to media, it is part of the checks and balance of government. While there is "fake news" and media that reports based on certain political views, it is needed to keep everyone in check, without it we the people wouldn't know anything and that would allow government to get away with a lot more.

And then that could probably create government run media, which is how the government controls what people knows and thinks.

Holy shite.. I just finished "The Pharmacist". This is a serious question.

What has been the biggest threat to Americans the past 20 years? Middle eastern terrorist groups or Purdue Pharma & tobacco companies?

Which one has had an impact on you?

Drugging kids with all kinds of meds for ADD, ADHD, anti-depressants and prescription opioids. That’s the biggest threat to America since the early 90’s.

Wanna know why mass shooting are on the rise, I’d be willing to bet it can all be linked back to Big Pharma.

My next door neighbor's daughter is mentally ill. Its something that runs in their family and as she got older it got worse.

She was in her late 30s, early 40s when she ended up having to go into a state mental facility. She was in there for a few weeks and was actually getting worse. My neighbors (her parents) went get her out and took her to a doctor.

My neighbor told me when the doctor looked at her chart he couldn't believe they were doing at the state facility. They prescribed one type of med and a few days later they decided it didn't work so they immediately put her on a different med. This went on for about 2 weeks.

The doctor told them that when you take the meds they were prescribing, you have to slowly get off of them which takes several days, before taking something else. So stopping one then immediately taking another was completely throwing off the balance in her head.

Ever since that happened, I always wonder if that is the problem with some people. Are they not taking their meds like they are supposed to, are doctors changing their meds up.. Or anything else that could cause them to think irrational. Be off balanced.
