What happened at Dyatlov Pass?

Two of them had fractured skulls, two more had major chest fractures, and one hiker was missing her tongue. Soviet investigators listed the cause of death as “a compelling natural force,” and abruptly closed the case not even a month later.

the missing tongue in going with animals ate it but the rest sounds like some shady shite happened, maybe witnessed some sort of major drug or arms deal going down and had to be eliminated after they tortured them. sounds like some fricked up shite for sure but they didnt go out there willingly in such and environment of sub freezing conditions with no skis, shoes, or coats, that is for damn sure.

The craziest part is there are no other footprints in the snow to suggest an animal capable of producing the injuries, or a group of humans were there.
Also, why was the tent cut open from the inside, and the campers left wearing very little clothing?

It used to stream on Netflix but seems to have been removed.
It looks like it is on Showtime on demand (at least for Cox). Saw it in like 2014/15 and again sometime last year.
Not a perfect movie but not bad. I've seen much worse going browsing through Netflix and Amazon Prime.
