I dunno, government vs insurance companies may be a wash.
On one hand, government doesn't care. On the other hand insurance companies have a vested interest in denying you. I think these two may cancel out.

Really? In Louisiana and some parish governments - a test has to be taken in order to get hired
The test has to have a passing grade, there are people that don’t pass - and then don’t work for the government. The tests are simple, most people with an 8th grade education can pass - yet there are those that don’t

You wasted a lot of time when you could have just pitched it into the garbage. It’s not your vehicle. They can tack on as many fees as they want. They can send DPS to your house. It wouldn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that you don’t own the car.
