What feedback can you offer cigarette smokers?

Cigarette smokers need to hear from you? What can you tell them about how choosing to smoke cigarettes effects not just them but those around them?
I grew up in an era where people could smoke indoors and even at restaurants, which had a smoking and non-smoking section. If you were in a hurry you could chose smoking but then someone would come in and fire one up and blow smoke right beside you. Society has gotten so overreactive that there are now smoke free campuses. If you want to smoke sometimes you have to leave the premises. Back in the day you used to get smoke breaks at work. So they still do those?

I got it now, your mother smoked when you were in the womb, that explains it all now.

IF they are stupid enough to smoke in this day and age, then nothing you say will sway them.

I don't see that as an overreaction.

I remember those days. My folks smoked indoors. I never realized how funky that actually made things (and me) until they started smoking outside only. I can remember re-painting the house, and when we removed the light switch covers, seeing the difference between the exposed wall and unexposed wall. I didn't really know any better at the time, but now I know it was disgusting. I would have been embarrassed about having friends over, but then again their folks smoked too in those days. I also had sinus problems growing up that stopped after I moved out.
People at my work get smoke breaks. Since I don't smoke, I make up the difference by taking TD breaks.

Not only are you likely to die a slow, painful death from lung cancer or oral cancer...you will spend upwards of $450K (1 pack a day = ~ $177/week = ~$9,200/year = ~ $450K after 49 years) over you lifetime for the privilege to die that way.
