Endless relays, but those are nothing compared to my current hate for burpees.

Fall flat on your stomach.
Get back up.
Run knees up in place.
Fall flat on your stomach.
Get back up.
Run knees up in place.

Repeat until no one could get back up.

Lay there and die in the hot Sun.

We had to run 300s in under 35 seconds with about a minute rest in between runs. Starting at 6 the first day of summer practice and going up to around 16 I think. This was for basketball.

Football coach used to make us run gassers after every practice. Run the width of the football field 3 times for time. If everyone did not make it, it didn't count. I'd say either that or perfect tens. Linemen would have to get in ready stance and stay there until coach blew the whistle. Would have to run five yards and back before he walked five yards. If he was pissed he'd make sure we never made it on time. Screw those.

Indian run

This, i hated it. absolutely hated it. During summer conditioning we would do 5k and 10k Indian runs, you get stuck behind some linemen and you would be doing full 400s to catch up the front.

Anything designed to train for short sprints and agility, my left knee is still jacked up 20+ years later from that start-stop thing.

Suicides easily. Coach made us run them at the end of practice when we were all tired already and if someone was dragging their arse, we all had to do it again

Sitting on the wall did suck. Not sure if anyone still used one of these but The Leaper was a medieval torture device. Our coach would crank that thing to the max and I think all it did was cause spinal damage.

Suicides on a 160 yd long practice field 5 yards at a time holding a empty 55 gallon drum on your shoulders. And it was timed and if you didn’t beat the time you had to do it again.

frick that coach with everything under the sun. Thankfully i only played under him for a year

Bear crawl yo yos and sleds, still have nightmares about them. But then again I've been able to skip leg day for the last 15 years so I guess I should thank those sadistic fricks.

100 yard bear crawls. Coach was an a-hole. I'd rather run suicides all day. Wasn't too many years later that I had to have a shoulder rebuilt.

End of wrestling practice where we would do that god damned 10 minute drill where all the captains got in front and we jogger in place and did calisthenics for 10 minutes.

V-ups
Push-ups
Split squats
Burpees
Up downs
Lunge jumps
Mountain climbers
And anything else that could be thought of. For 10 straight minutes. After a 2 hour wrestling practice.

Coach forbid any ab work unless it was V-ups as everything else was deemed too easy.
