I’ll be honest, sometimes I dress and get dirty like white trash on the weekend getting shite done around the land. It’s quite comfortable

yep, lines are blurred on that, big difference in a young, hot girl that drives a pickup, likes to go deer hunting with dad, knows how to clean the deer, etc., versus some 350lb. hog that comes running out of the bathroom after taking a dump, cig in hand, yelling "y'all gotta come look at this before I flush it!"

Trash is trash as far as I’m concerned, and I define as it as someone who gives zero fricks about the people around them, basically no respect for anyone.

I know plenty of rednecks that aren’t white trash. Just hard working Good old boys who like to hunt and fish. They might not be as cultured and nuanced to some people, but that doesn’t make them bad.

Yep. I grew up fairly country, mud riding, hunting, fishing etc. My dad always said he's an educated redneck. We weren't trashy people by any means. Just lived in the country and that's what we enjoyed.

I enjoy a lot of things that some here despise. I just don’t care as much about their lifestyle as they do mine. It’s very evident people here are obsessed with what people think of them.
At the end of the day, be trash or whatever people judge you as, but at least we’re happy people.

Being country and doing outdoor country things doesn't make someone a redneck.

Some people equate the 2.
When I was a kid, my dad wore alligator skin cowboy boots, drank Ole Milwaukee and dipped Copenhagen. On the surface he'd definitely seem a little bit redneck. He is also a college graduate, published author and speaks 4 languages.

It is why I love tattoos so much. In an instant, I can judge them to be trash without the annoyance of ever having to say a word to the guttersnipe.
