What do they control? Who are they the boss of besides their servants?
Doesn’t the UK have a Prime Minister? Does the Royals just delegate what they want to the Prime Ministry and Parliament?

Supreme governor of the Church of England, for one.

It’s all ceremonial now. Nothing actually important. They just show up and make appearances mostly.

Church of England,

When he discovered that Anne Boleyn was pregnant, Henry arranged to marry her in secret at Whitehall Palace - this marked the beginning of the break with Rome.
Henry had asked Pope Clement VII for his marriage to Catherine to be dissolved, but the Pope would not agree.
Part of the reason that the Pope refused was because Charles V, the Holy Roman Emperor, had taken control of Rome - and Charles V was Catherine’s nephew.
When Henry secretly married Anne, he was excommunicated from the Catholic Church.
In 1534 however, Henry pushed through the Act of Supremacy. The Act made him, and all of his heirs, Supreme Head of the Church of England. This meant that the Pope no longer held religious authority in England, and Henry was free to divorce Catherine.

My thoughts exactly, hence my question because I’ve never really given a frick about any of them.
I’m only asking bc I was genuinely curious what’s makes them so important
How and what do they do that actually affects people day to day life

Open Parliament, cut ribbons at the opening of new places, serve as the head of the Church of England, entertain foreign diplomats and heads of state, consult with and advise the Prime Minister, and serve as a patron to various charities and nonprofits. Most of the males serve in the military for some length of time. Elizabeth II worked as a mechanic during the Second World War.

Parliament, namely the Prime Minister, forms a government in his/her name in England's Constitutional Monarchy. That's their biggest power at this point.
And it is still a power, even if so far they've gone along with what Parliament wants (and the election of the PM).
In the 1970s, there was a group of people in Britain's upper government that wanted to overthrow Prime Minister Harold Wilson. There was even talk of a full on coup d'état, with Lord Mountbatten stepping in himself with assistance from the military. Part of the theoretical success of such an attempt was based on the idea that the Queen would support a new government under a new Prime Minister (which she could, theoretically allow to happen).
So the monarch can sack the PM but would likely never do so because it would be going against the people and Parliament. And would make the Crown WILDLY unpopular and likely threaten its existence.

King is head of state.
PM is head of government.
In US, president is head of both.

This is basically it. The Monarchy is a polarizing subject within the UK. About half of the residents want it abolished.

So it’s like how most people in the USA view people in Hollywood

They have charitable causes they make appearances for to help them raise money. Harry puts a lot of time and money into the Invictus games for disabled and wounded veterans.
