Head of State and Head of Church- They recently passed a law that the monarchy is now allowed to marry a Catholic.

Also all of House Windsor monarchs have served in the military, King Charles, both of his parents and both of his sons served. King George V & VI, and Elizabeth's uncle King Edward VIII had military careers.

Their sweet old queen with her castles and ancient traditions brought a massive amount of tourist money into the UK.

Within the UK itself, the role has evolved into an elderly wise person advisory role, tourist attraction.
