Married a Great Value version of her Dad. Oedipus Regina. That was then and this is now. My kid is cuter than the one she made so I feel blessed.

You’re an ole baw. Sounds like a similar story to one I know from the new Hahnville High School about 20 years ago. I guess there are a lot of stories like that around that way.

Mark 2:22 says, "And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. If he does, the wine will burst the skins, and both the wine and the wineskins will be ruined...."
You just can't or shouldn't go back.

I was firmly in the friend zone with this one, had known her forever. I had a crush on her all thru high school. When we got to college she would call every once in a while and see if I was in town. We’d go out to dinner, go back to her place. Never went anywhere, never even kissed her. I finally worked up enough courage to try to make a move. I confessed my undying love for her. She stonewall rejected me. Just didn’t think of me that way. I said my goodbyes and left. Told her this was the last time I was taking her on a “friend date” and I wasn’t going to be her shoulder to cry on just because she was lonely.
She kept calling me and texting to see if I wanted to meet up. No thanks I always said. I guess she was trying to see if I was really serious. I met my future wife a short time later. When she found out I was seeing someone, she called me out of the blue to tell me she had been thinking about lot about our last conversation and felt like she needed to date someone that wasn’t her typical type and wanted me to know she was ready to take our relationship to the next level. No thanks I said.
That was almost 25 years ago and I don’t think I’ve spoken to her for more than 5 seconds since. Last I heard she was on divorce #3. Wife and I make 19 years next spring.

Every 2 or 3 months, I’ll have a dream about her. And it’s been 35 years. She was the one I was truly in love with. I have never felt anything close to that with any other girl. I got engaged and she called me crying professing her love for me. I was such an idiot that night. I call her on her birthday every year like I’ve been doing for the last 35 years but that’s it. It’s too late now. Damn.

1. Became a vet, has a couple kids with her husband she met in college.
2. Married into a family that owns an oilfield service company.
3. Left me for a guy whose family owns a sugar plantation. They’re still married with a kid.
4. I was the other guy. She decided to break up with both her boyfriend and me and moved to the northeast. Lost contact with her after that.
5. She dumped me via a long drawn out text at 3am, blocked me on everything, then immediately started sad posting about our breakup on social media like she was the victim. Shortly checked herself into the wacko basket.

We were classmates. She threw every birthday party for me. She stood up for me when our other classmates got rude to me. We'd go shooting together. She even wanted me to sleep her, but I was Mr. True Love Waits. Life took us separate directions any way. She married an engineer who came from money. They moved to the Florida coast. .
We reunited at a friend's wedding. We took a picture together and she was grinning like a lotto winner.
I shoulda got her pregnant.

Hot little gal that was a friend of a friend in a nearby town. I went out with her on two stints in HS and college. She was from a well to do family and I never was quite good enough to make the cut at that time. Sassy with a smoking body.
Google her name now and she’s fat with two mugshots…one for DUI and one for assault. She lost her brother and dad which looks like it ruined her.
Dodged a bullet.

She got married to guy from France, moved there, divorced now and back home in the states. I have heard anything about her in about 10 years.
