It was so nasty but that’s all I could afford when I was in high school

Also my preferred HS brand. It's pretty much all we drank. $6 a case or so at the time

My former inlaws prefer the light version. They claimed it tasted like Miller Lite but cheaper. It did not, it most certainly did not.

My go to beer. They only make light and ice anymore though. It’s a poor man’s Miller Lite, only thing I’ve found cheaper is Hamm’s.

It was still around 20 years ago, as it was the cheapest beer available in my college town.

It tasted like shite but was affordable.

The beast was actually very drinkable when I made a visit up to Wisconsin

Definitely tasted fresher than what I’ve had back home

Seems like I recall reading years ago that Milwaukee’s Best won a blind taste test against a number of name brand beers.

Blatz, Mickey's Big Mouth, and K&B beer did the trick back in high school too.

I had a friend in college who exclusively drank Milwaukee’s Best. Nothing else. His reasoning was that he knew no one would ever steal his beer. He was right
